Privacy Policy and Terms for Booking with Morocco Rent A Car

1. Privacy and Personal Data
At Morocco Rent A Car, we recognize and value the importance of responsibly managing personal data collected on our website. We take all necessary steps to ensure the security of your personal information and that it is used solely for legitimate business purposes.

2. Reservation Process
Once a reservation is made through our booking engine, a confirmation email with your voucher will be sent within 24 hours. This email will contain all necessary details for your upcoming arrival. We use your email address only to send the confirmation voucher, and your phone number is used solely to contact you regarding any issues with your reservation.

If any alterations are needed, please contact us via email with the precise details. However, we cannot guarantee that requested changes can be processed.

By using this booking system, you agree:

  • Not to make speculative or false reservations.
  • Not to use the booking system to research our rental vehicle providers or pricing.
  • Not to use the name “Morocco Rent A Car” for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

3. Booking Cancellation
Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up time. If the reservation is made less than 48 hours before the pick-up, the prepayment is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

4. Customer Requirements

  • All children, regardless of age, must have an individual seat, and the number of passengers cannot exceed the vehicle’s seating capacity. Transporting additional passengers is prohibited, and the driver may refuse service in such cases.
  • The customer must provide a correct mobile phone number and be available at the time of arrival.
  • Smoking and drinking are not allowed in the vehicle. If violated, the driver may stop the car and ask the customer to leave.

5. Pick-up and Drop-off Information
For airport pick-ups, accurate flight information (flight number and arrival time) is essential. This can be provided online or by phone. If not available during booking, it must be provided at least two days prior to your departure. The driver will wait at the pick-up location with a sign displaying the customer’s last name.

6. Privacy Statement
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers’ personal data. We collect only essential information needed to fulfill our obligations, and customers are regularly informed about how their data will be used. You can also choose whether to have your name included in marketing campaigns. All customer information is strictly protected and is accessible only to employees who need it to perform their duties. All employees and business partners are required to adhere to confidentiality standards.

7. Complaints
Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the vehicle drop-off date. Complaints submitted after this period will not be processed.

8. Price Inclusions
Included in the price: customer support, additional driver, and child seat.

9. Legal Driving Age
The minimum legal age to rent a car is 21 years old.

10. Required Documents
To rent a car, you must provide a valid driver’s license and passport.

11. Accident, Damage, and Theft Procedures
In the event of damage or theft of the vehicle, you must immediately inform Morocco Rent A Car and the police. You are required to stay at the scene of the incident until the police arrive unless you need medical assistance or are assisting others.

12. Border Crossing
Travelling outside of Morocco is not allowed.

13. Deposit
No deposit is required.

14. Cleanliness Policy
Excessively dirty interiors will incur a cleaning charge when the vehicle is returned.

15. Parking and Traffic Fines
Customers are responsible for any parking or traffic fines incurred during the rental period.

16. Loss of Keys or Vehicle Documentation
A charge of 500 EUR will apply for the loss of vehicle keys or documentation.
